Kimberly was born in Houston and raised in Port Arthur, Texas. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson Senior High School. Kimberly attended Lamar University, and while serving in the U.S. Navy, completed her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Park College, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She earned her Paralegal Certificate from the Southeastern Paralegal Institute in 1998.

Kimberly was stationed in Washington, D.C. during the Persian Gulf War and Operation Desert Storm, earning the rank of Petty Officer First Class. She was selected “Sailor of the Year” and received two Navy Commendation Medals and a Navy Achievement Medal. Kimberly enjoyed serving her country in uniform. She credits her time in the military for her work ethic and dedication to her profession.

Kimberly began her career in the legal field in the late 1990s. She has more than 15 years of experience as a legal professional. Kimberly earned her paralegal certificate in 1998 while working as a legal secretary, so multi-tasking is no problem. Kimberly has nearly a decade of hands-on experience with litigation and trial support, electronic document management, and trial presentation.

Kimberly is married and the mother of twins. She enjoys participating in her children’s athletic activities and spending time with family.
