Sandy was born in El Campo, Texas, and grew up in Houston. She graduated from Westbury High School in 1983 and attended Southwestern Paralegal Institute in 2001. She is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators.

She began her career as a legal assistant in 1987 and began working as a paralegal/and legal administrator in 2001 and has more than 25 years of experience as a legal professional. She has provided paralegal services on pro bono adoption cases as part of the Houston Bar Association’s Child Abuse and Adoption Committee, a passion she developed from helping raise her younger brother from the time she was 11. She has also served as a committee chair-person for the 2014 and 2015 HYLA Adopt-an-Angel Program and volunteered for the Bears for Babies for National Adoption Day which is an event hosted by Harris County CPS.

In today’s ever-changing technology driven office, Sandy has initiated change to make sure that the firm is kept at the cutting edge of technology from computer software to hardware in order to optimize operational efficiency and improve productivity.

When not at work Sandy spends a great deal of her time with her husband, three children, three beautiful grandchildren and her niece whom she helped raise. She is an extraordinarily creative baker and cake designer and has thereby been deemed the firm’s permanent personal baker for all post-victory celebrations.
