Wesley Lotz


Wes represents clients in business litigation, arbitration, and appeals. Over the past 16 years, Wes has represented plaintiffs and defendants in asserting and defending claims for breach of contract, fraud, fiduciary duty, partnership disputes, trade secrets, non-compete, employment litigation, patent, copyright and trademark litigation, intellectual property, and other matters.

Chris Lotz


Chris’s primary areas of practice are civil litigation and civil appeals. Chris has litigated matters as diverse as arbitration; arson; assault; breach of contract; class actions; construction defects; deceptive trade practices; First Amendment freedom of speech; industrial accidents; insurance defense; landlord-tenant disputes; libel; nuisance; pharmacy negligence; premises liability; products liability; property damage; slander; slip and falls; shootings; storm damage; subrogation; trespass; vehicular accidents (automobile, motorcycle, and trucking); workplace injuries; wrongful death; and wrongful termination.

Scott Humphrey

Senior Counsel

Scott has over fifteen years’ experience defending clients in complex commercial, energy, toxic tort and environmental litigation. Mr. Humphrey has experience in a full range of commercial disputes, including allegations of fraud, breach of contract, antitrust violations, and breach of fiduciary duty. He has also represented clients in investigations of commercial activities by federal regulatory agencies.

Gavin Uttecht


Gavin came to work for Fulkerson Lotz LLP as a law clerk in September of 2012. Gavin became a licensed attorney in November of 2012 and served as of counsel to the firm; Gavin became an Associate in January of 2018. Gavin represents both plaintiffs and defendants in business negotiations, trials, arbitrations and appeals. His practice centers on complex commercial litigation, including business disputes, trade secrets, joint venture and partnership disputes, oil and gas litigation and employment disputes.
